Ashburnham Golf Club at Burry Port a links course.
Carmarthen Golf Club an undulating parkland course.
Glyn Abbey Golf Club near Kidwelly set in 200 acres of rolling countryside.
Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club near Llanelli, the only Nicklaus designed course in Wales.
Parc Garnant Golf Club overlooking the Brecon Beacons near Ammanford, that won the Best New Club of the Year in 2003/04.

Walks

Camarthenshire council has produced bilingual English/Welsh leaflets about walks in Brechfa, Abergorlech and Llanfynydd. Visit their website to see more walks all over Camarthenshire. Penygraig Cottage and Granary are only a few miles from the Brecon Beacons National Park.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the seven miles of broad beach at Pendine Sands and the Millennium Coastal Park are all within easy reach of Penygraig Cottage.
